Our Optimum Group Nordic Privacy Policy will help you understand what data we collect, why we collect it, and what we as a data controller organisation use it for.

1. General terms

1.1 This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information that you provide to us and/or that we collect about you as a customer of Optimum Group Nordic ApSor when you visit our website www.ogn.dk.

2.2 When we process personal data, we comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as well as the Danish personal data law rules that may be applicable after May 25, 2018.

3. Website and cookies

3.1. When you visit the website www.ogn.dk, we use Google Analytics cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in your browser to recognize your computer on return visits. Cookies help us to see how many people visit the website (traffic measurement) and how our users interact with the website. We do not process information about user behavior that can link such user behavior to specific individuals.

3.2 As mentioned in section 3.1, we use Google Analytics cookies to give us insight into how visitors use our website. We do not share this data with anyone, and the knowledge we gain is used solely to improve the website and the user experience for you as a visitor. 4. Collection of personal data

4.1 If you are a customer or if you contact us from the website, www.ogn.dk, we collect the following general personal data about you, including: name, title, address, postal code, city, country, mobile number, and email address as well as billing information such as company name, CVR no., etc. If the site allows for automatic card payment, we will also collect payment card information.

4.2 Personal data will never be disclosed to third parties unless you explicitly consent to this.

4.3. We do not collect any special categories of personal data (sensitive data) about you.

 

5. Processing of personal data

5.1 We only process personal data to the extent necessary, e.g. when you become a customer. It may, for example, be necessary for us to fulfill our obligations under agreements and related services. It may also be to comply with the obligations we have as a Danish company subjected to Danish law.

5.2 Personal data shall be understood as defined in the Danish Data Protection Act.

5.3. We do not profile you or misuse your personal data. Furthermore, we will not disclose your personal data without your consent, unless we are required to do so by law.

5.4. If you are a customer, we use your personal information to:
Send order confirmations, passwords and user guides to you
Provide you with customer service, support, answer questions and fulfill your requests
Execute your orders and deliver our services and benefits
Manage the administration of the customer relationship with you
Send notifications about new opportunities, products, prices, system updates, downtime, etc. via e-mail.

6. Sharing your personal data

6.1 We may share your personal data with suppliers and business partners who assist us with the execution of your order or who assist us with our IT operations, hosting, SMS gateway, etc. This means, for example, that we may share your data with our service providers, our technical support and our bank.

6.1.2 We share your data to the extent that we are obliged to, e.g. as a result of reporting requirements to public authorities such as SKAT.

7. Sharing data with recipients outside the EU/EEA

7.1 As a data controller, we do not share personal data with recipients outside the EU/EEA.

8. Protection of personal data

8.1 The Data Protection Act requires your personal information to be kept secure and confidential. We store your personal information on restricted access computers located in controlled facilities and our security measures are regularly reviewed to determine whether our user information is handled securely and with due regard for your rights as a user. However, we cannot guarantee 100 percent security for data transmissions over the internet. This means that there may be a (limited) risk of unauthorized access by others when data is transmitted and stored electronically. You therefore provide your personal data at your own risk.

8.2. Personal data shall be deleted or anonymized on an ongoing basis as the purpose for which they were collected is completed. Personal data shall be stored for a maximum of 12 months after the purpose has ended.

8.3. The rapid development of the internet means that changes to our processing of personal data may be necessary. We therefore reserve the right to update and amend these guidelines for the processing of personal data. If we do so, we will of course correct the date in section 9. "last updated" at the bottom of the page. In the event of significant changes, we will notify you in the form of a visible notice on our website.

8.4 To the extent that personal data is processed about you, you have the right, according to the Personal Data Act, to be informed about which personal data can be attributed to you. If it turns out that the information or data processed about you is incorrect or misleading, you have the right to demand that it be corrected, deleted or blocked. You have the right to object at any time to the processing of data concerning you. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. You also have the right to complain about the processing of information and data concerning you. Complaints must be filed with the Danish Data Protection Agency, cf. section 58(1) of the Personal Data Act.
